24.3% Growth in Real Estate Transactions in Armenia

46,789 transactions for state registration of the right to the immovable property took place in Armenia in the second quarter of 2019. The indicator is 24.3% higher than the number recorded in the first quarter of 2019 and 17.3% higher than in the second quarter of 2018.

Real estate purchase and sale transactions have grown by 11.1% in the first quarter of 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.

According to the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre of Armenia, for the second quarter of 2019 compared to the first quarter of 2018, 3.2% growth has been recorded for the average market prices for 1 square meter surface area of apartments in multi-apartment buildings. The average prices have grown by 9.8% compared to the second quarter of 2018.

Real estate prices continue to grow in Armenia, and this attests to the high demand.”
